Fabulous weekend

So, apparently all I have to do is talk to my husband and he lends a helping hand. We will see if it lasts but I really hope it does since it is fabulous to have him involved in the things that go on in our house.

On Saturday both Noah and I were not feeling well. We slept off and on all day long. While I felt better by nightfall, it was still a bad day for the both of us. We think that Noah may be teething. He is WAY more irritable than normal and even refuses to eat. Once we give him a little tylenol he soothes himself to where he can eat and will then take a nap. The tylenol is not an every meal thing but he certainly is moody without it.

I hope that next week goes smoothly. Noah has begun sleeping in longer naps. Two hours in the AM and 2 -1 hour naps in the afternoon/evening. He is growing up so quickly and learning so much. He truly lights up our lives and we adore every moment with him.

Incredible Infants

So I started going to the hospital mommy and baby class last week and I really think it is great to have other mommies to talk to. This week another mommy joined the group and her little boy was wonderful.

Today we did a craft. Noah got to finger paint for the first time. One of the babies hated the sensation, the other just let mom do everything and watched what was happening around the room. Noah let me do the first color without paying attention. By the time we got to the second color, he was excited to see the splotches on the paper and wanted to make more. I helped him get the paint on his hands, and onto the paper. I am SO proud of him. After seeing how much fun he had, I cannot wait to pull out the paper and paints and let him play with mommy and daddy at home.

Not the back...

So I've been going to the chiropractor for 1 week now and let me tell you, my back hurts worse now. I cannot sleep well at night between Noah needing me and my back just aching from lying down. I know part of it has to be the need to lose weight, but what is the rest of it. I am not doing well and I hope the doctor can get it to stop hurting...
